Paste one webhook. Your pages get their SEO fields filled on publish.
Headlark reads each published page of your Webflow site and writes its SEO title, meta description, Open Graph title and Open Graph description through Webflow's API. Real page settings, in the HTML Webflow serves, so Google, Bing and link previews in Slack, LinkedIn and Facebook all see them.
Free for one site and 25 pages.
Three steps in Site settings.
1. Create a token
Site settings → Apps & integrations → API access. Generate a site token with Pages: read and write.
2. Connect it
In the Headlark dashboard, open your site, choose Webflow, and paste the token and your Webflow site id. The token is stored encrypted and never shown again.
3. Add the webhook
Site settings → Apps & integrations → Webhooks. Add a Site publish webhook with your site's hook URL from the dashboard.
Hands-off, and it never publishes for you.
Runs on every publish
Each Site publish triggers a crawl of your published pages. Pages whose content didn't change come from cache and cost nothing.
Live from your next publish
Headlark writes the fields; Webflow serves them from your next publish. It never publishes on your behalf, because that would also ship your drafts.
No churn
A page whose SEO didn't change isn't written again, so repeated publishes settle instead of rewriting fields each time.
What it covers today, honestly.
- SEO title and meta description for each published static page.
- Open Graph title and description, written separately so link previews read a little more conversationally.
- Written in the page's language, from what the page says. Numbers, prices and emails are checked against the page.
- Structured data and alt text aren't part of Webflow's page settings API. Add the snippet in Custom code → Head code to get them; the snippet's tags are seen by Google only.
- CMS Collection pages are left alone: their SEO is bound to Collection fields in Webflow.
- Draft and archived pages are skipped, as are Webflow's 404 and password pages.
Questions Webflow builders ask.
Doesn't Webflow have AI SEO built in?
Webflow AI can suggest titles, descriptions, alt text and schema from the Audit panel, which you review item by item. Headlark runs on every publish without anyone opening a panel. See our comparison draft.
Will it overwrite SEO I wrote by hand?
On Webflow, Headlark writes the title, description and Open Graph text of each page it processes. If a page's SEO is already exactly what Headlark would write, nothing is written.
Do I need a developer?
No. Setup is a token, a site id and a webhook URL, all in Webflow's Site settings.
How many client sites can I run?
Starter and Growth cover one site each. Agency covers 10 sites and 10,000 pages for €249 a month. See Headlark for agencies.
Stop filling in SEO fields by hand.
