Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Felwood Studios (Gustav Henning, enskild näringsverksamhet), Fleminggatan 63A, 112 32 Stockholm, Sweden, headlark.info@gmail.com, a sole proprietorship registered in Sweden, which runs Headlark ("Headlark", "we"). By creating an account you accept them, on behalf of the business you represent. You confirm that you are authorised to bind that business, and that you are at least 18.
1. Business use only
Headlark is offered only to businesses, for use in their trade or profession. If you are a consumer, you may not use Headlark. We may close accounts used for private purposes.
2. The service
Headlark reads pages of websites you connect and writes metadata for them: titles, descriptions, link previews (Open Graph and similar), structured data (JSON-LD), image alt text and language tags. It delivers this through a build tool, deploy and publishing webhooks, platform integrations such as Webflow and Netlify, or a script that reads metadata we publish. Metadata is generated by an AI model (currently Anthropic's Claude). We may change how the service works, its integrations and the models it uses, as long as the service keeps its main function.
During your subscription we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our build tool, snippet and integrations with your sites. We keep all rights to the service.
3. Your account and keys
You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Each site has a secret key. Keep keys secret and rotate a key in the dashboard if it may have leaked. You are responsible for use of the service through your account and keys.
4. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price per month | Sites | Pages | Rewrites per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | 1 | 25 | 25 |
| Starter | €39 | 1 | 500 | 500 |
| Growth | €89 | 1 | 2,500 | 2,500 |
| Agency | €249 | 10 | 10,000 | 10,000 |
A page's first generation counts toward the page limit. A rewrite is a new generation for a page we have generated before, made because its content changed. On paid plans, rewrites beyond the monthly quota cost €0.03 each (USD 0.03, SEK 0.35), billed on your next invoice: monthly on monthly plans, at renewal on yearly plans. The free plan stops generating when a limit is reached. We may change or withdraw the free plan at any time. Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price. Prices exclude sales tax and VAT, which are added at checkout where they apply. Prices in USD and SEK are set separately, and checkout may show the price in your local currency.
5. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are sold through Stripe, which acts as reseller and merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments): Stripe charges you, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoices and receipts. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment. Subscriptions are paid in advance and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel or change plan at any time in the billing portal. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and paid fees are not refunded, except where Stripe as merchant of record issues a refund. If a payment fails we may stop extra rewrites and, if it stays unpaid, move the account to the free plan. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next period.
6. Your content and the output
You keep all rights to your websites and their content, and you own the metadata Headlark generates for you. You give us the right to fetch and process your pages, and to store what is needed to provide the service, for as long as you use it. We may keep generated metadata, with no link to you or your site, to reuse it when identical content is processed again.
The output is generated by AI and can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing it and for what you publish on your sites. We do not promise any particular search ranking, traffic or result: search engines decide independently how they use metadata, and they often rewrite titles and descriptions.
7. Acceptable use
Use Headlark only for websites you own or are authorised to manage. Do not use it for unlawful content, to process sites in breach of their owners' rights, to try to get around limits or security, or in ways that disrupt the service for others.
You are responsible for the content of your sites and confirm you have the right to let us fetch, process and republish it, including any personal data it contains. You compensate us for third-party claims caused by your content or your breach of these terms.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Headlark available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Your published metadata stays in your HTML or on our CDN even if generation is briefly unavailable. Support is by email during Swedish business hours; we make no response-time or uptime commitment.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Headlark and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable, or immediately if needed to protect the service or others. When we close an account we delete its data within 30 days. When you delete your account we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.
10. Liability
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim and EUR 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data. These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them.
11. Personal data
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data as controller. When your pages contain personal data, we process it on your behalf under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days' notice by email. If you keep using Headlark after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don't accept them, you can cancel before they take effect. The current version and date are always shown at the top of this page.
13. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) has exclusive jurisdiction as first instance.
