- Default share image: set one per site in the dashboard, and pages without an
og:imageget it in their link previews. Your ownog:imageis never replaced, and adding or changing the default uses no rewrites. Build step and WordPress; Webflow's API can't set images. - Free tools: a site checker (up to 50 pages from your sitemap), an llms.txt generator and a structured data checker.
- Pages served compressed (gzip, deflate, Brotli) even when asked not to are read correctly by the free tools and deploy hooks.
- The free tools check pages as crawlers see them, including SEO Headlark wrote. JSON-LD written as an array or with
@graphis no longer flagged as missing@context.

- Dashboard: the next invoice, extra rewrites in your plan's currency, and recent activity per site.
- A page that's already waiting in a batch isn't queued, or counted, a second time.
- Webflow: the built-in 404 and password pages are skipped. The SEO we write back into a Webflow page no longer counts as a content change, so it doesn't use a rewrite.
- The CLI stops with an upgrade message when the API needs a newer version.
- Terms, privacy policy, data processing agreement and cookie statement published.
- Sign-in emails have a plain reply address and an HTML version.

- Launch: pricing, these docs, and the
headlarkCLI andnetlify-plugin-headlarkon npm. - Customer dashboard at /app: sites, secret keys, usage and billing.
- Export your data or delete your account from the dashboard. Webflow tokens are stored encrypted.
- Functions and data storage moved to EU regions (Frankfurt and Stockholm); some providers are US companies, listed in the DPA.
- Rebuilds stay free through incidental changes: timestamps, counters, tokens and asset hashes don't count as new content.
- Deploy hooks read your whole sitemap.
- Rate limits and security headers on every endpoint; daily backups and hourly uptime checks.
2026-10-18
- Nothing runs when someone views your page: the snippet reads SEO published at deploy time from a cached file.
- SEO for pages found by a deploy or publish webhook is written in a batch at half the cost.
headlark CLI
0.1.3 2026-10-20
Fixed
--site-urlkeeps its path, so sites under a base path (GitHub Pages project sites, Vitebase, Next.jsbasePath) get correct canonicals.- Files that aren't UTF-8 are left untouched.
Changed
- Without
--strictthe CLI never fails your build: a missing key, output folder or--site-urlis reported and every page stays as built. - Error pages, redirect pages and verification files are skipped byte for byte; an unknown key or a URL outside your site stops the run with a clear message.
- Retries rate-limited or dropped requests, and keeps your own tags when a generated value is empty.

0.1.3 2026-10-20
