Headlark vs Alli AI

Checked 2026-10-20

In short: Alli AI is an on-page SEO platform for agencies that installs as a snippet, WordPress plugin or tag-manager tag and changes pages without source code edits. Headlark writes metadata into the HTML at build time, into Webflow through its API, or through its WordPress plugin. If you manage many sites you can't build or deploy yourself, Alli AI's no-code install fits. If you control the build, Headlark puts the tags in the HTML itself.

A note on script-applied tags

Tags added by JavaScript in the browser are seen by Google, which renders JavaScript, but not by link previewers such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and X, which read the raw HTML. This applies to any snippet-based tool, including Headlark's own snippet. We haven't verified whether Alli AI also offers a server-side delivery option; check their docs.
